The Sentinels are a variety of mutant-hunting robots appearing in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 - The Black Order.
History[]
The Sentinels were first created by Dr. Bolivar Trask, whose intention was to use them to save humanity from what he saw as an impending threat to the species' existence in the increasing number of mutants.
Story[]
After Ultron lost to The Ultimate Alliance and sealed inside the Mind Stone, he made his last ditch to reactivate Sentinels into attacking X-Men's home base, Xavier Mansion. Though Nightccrawler, Psylocke and Beast managed to secure the Power Stone from the Hellfire Club, thanks to Jessica Jones's tip off-screen, the stone fell into a Sentinel who use it to change its form, then ends up fell into the hands of Brotherhood of Evil, consisting Magneto, Mystique and Juggernaut, who were hired to steal back the Power Stone from the alliance by Hellfire Club. However, the Brotherhood changes their minds to join the alliance when the presences of Thanos and his Black Orders endangers the universe, including the mutantkind.

- Sentinels are the enemy characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance series' predecessor series, X-Men Legends, where they are major antagonists in the first game, and minor antagonists who are meant to be allies in the second game.
- The Sentinels in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order are voiced by Jim Ward, reprising his role from Wolverine & the X-Men and Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
